Kamnik is a historical and old town below the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. The settlement was as a town mentioned in 1229. The Legend about bewitched countess Veronika - by halves girl and by halves snake is interesting. By the legend, she was a guardian of the hidden treasure near the Little castle.

Remark about the upload: Kamnik city tour was a milestone with my 10.000th VR panorama within my site. I have decreased the number ob VRs to a bit more than 8.000 today as I have deleted 2000 old panoramas which were obsolete (too bad quality and resolution - most of them from the years 1997 - 2000). It was a big dilemma as I knew the history of deleted panoramas and were a "mirror" of VR production about a decade ago, but hard to explain why "bad quality and resolution" to nowadays internet users or even younger VR producers. I just wonder how I will look on panoramas from year 2009 in next decade... ;)

why delete them ? You could have flagget them all as "veteran" panoramas from the 90' . I mean a kind of symbol or logo or else so that it's clear that it's old vr's, not to be confused with your current quality level.

I was just thinking about the value of showing a place in the past, ever if crappy or old, a pano still serves this purpose.Just my 2cent ,-)

I did my daily record with "taken" VR panoramas on 8-9 th May. I have connected a tour around Ljubljana, that is ~ 34 km with the method "eye2view". The distances between locations were from 50m to 100 m. I tried to keep the max quality as possible although these days were over 20.000 people on that footpath. However a lot of processing is needed but an example how the finished documentation of the event/track will be, is already here: http://www.burger.si/Ljubljana/PST/25.html . Speed of upcoming VRs is not the problem but the host server is already creaking... ;)
